About Nathan Barnett

Nathan Barnett profile

Nathan Barnett is Chief Strategy Officer at 71a. He has spent 17 years in marketing, including 13 years in financial services.

Before joining 71a, Nathan ran paid media and marketing at money.co.uk for more than six years. He was Head of PPC, then Head of Marketing, helping the business grow before its £120m sale to Zoopla.

He then led financial-services marketing across ZPG brands including Zoopla, Uswitch, money.co.uk and Bankrate, before moving into digital distribution at A-Plan Insurance.

Nathan has helped with four business acquisitions, three valued over £100m and one over £2bn. He has also helped businesses earn Sunday Times Fast Track 100, Profit Track 100 and Tech Track 100 recognition. That gives him a clear view of what marketing needs to do when revenue, payback and customer quality matter.

At 71a, Nathan leads marketing plans for financial services clients. His role is to make sure paid media, conversion work and measurement work towards the same business result.
