In previous roles, we struggled to find agency and consultancy support that understood the nuances of financial services, so we built 71a.
Before founding 71a, our leadership team held senior positions at money.co.uk, the UK's second fastest-growing private company. We were instrumental in the company's success, from its inception to its acquisition by Zoopla for £120m.

Edward built his first website at 12 and wrote the first version of money.co.uk at 20. He spent the next decade on money.co.uk's senior leadership team, driving EBITDA from £8m to £12m in the year before its £120m sale to Zoopla, then stayed through Silver Lake's £2.2bn take-private of parent group ZPG. He founded 71a in 2019.
Nathan is the Chief Strategy Officer and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He’s played a vital role in four successful business acquisitions, three valued at over £100m and one over £2bn. He has a track record of helping businesses achieve recognition in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100, Profit Track 100, and Tech Track 100. Nathan is responsible for overseeing the growth strategies of our clients.
James is our Technical Director, responsible for crafting and enhancing the platforms and tools that support us and our clients, from conversion optimisation tests and handy automations to launching full-stack solutions.
Amy is our Digital Experience Manager with 5 years of experience. Originally joining as an apprentice, she’s built a strong capability for spotting friction, improving landing page performance, and uncovering opportunities to strengthen and scale our clients’ digital experience.
Mike is our Performance Marketing Manager with expertise in PPC, skilled across platforms like Google, Microsoft, and Meta. With experience managing multi-channel campaigns, he’s focused on driving growth and delivering impactful results for our clients.
Sian is Ed’s Executive Assistant and brings over a decade of experience and a proven track record within the FinTech space to the team. She’s here to supercharge our operational efficiency and support the growth of our company.
